Bright and early start of the day; 7.15am at the Royal Australian Jockey Club Randwick. Telstra gathered all their main customers for presentation of NextG, new enterprise applications, location services and a lot more. A nice breakfast was accompanied by interesting presentations from Telstra executives. Afterwards there where a number of showcases on display, great to see the services promoted!I got a new contact for pushing WAP billing as well :-)
In October 2006 Telstra launched its 3G HSDPA network, NEXT G, delivered by Ericsson. The network will replace the CDMA network, and as such it will deliver better and more mobile services to regional mobile users. The capacity for mobile internet is 3.6Mbit/sec, it's getting really good!
