New bed!!!

I finally got a hold of the bed frame I've been asking for during the last 8 months. It's VERY nice actually having a bed frame and not just a mattress on the floor...

Every time it's been shipped in it's gone within two days (there is nothing very special with the bed frame from a Swedes prospective, simple white, but here it's impossible to find, ALL bed frames are dark or just plain ugly) So no more sleeping on the floor...

Midsummer Party

Marie & Carl invited to traditional Midsummer Party!!! After the completions were done, and OUR TIGERSHARK team won, the feast began!!! Traditional (fantastic!!!) Swedish food was blended with Snaps songs and dancing. The crowd: Swedes, and Swedish girls with Oz men, one kid sleeping on the floor and two more on their way. Fantastic well put together evening by Marie and Carl!!!! Thank YOU

The storm and reign continues in Sydney. What better way to cheer up than to attend Nadine’s birthday party? Bravely Pauline and I took the ferry, high sea and scared passengers made us wake up and get into mood while enduring the half hour bumpy way over to CBD. Fabulous blend of people at the party, bankers, bankers AND bankers……Macquarie, Macquarie, Natwest (wow) and Macquarie, AND a group of very lovely, nice American girls with revealing outfits. A combination of a lot of champagne and good music played by the female DJ in the VIP room turned the evening into a fantastic one,…my conversations keep repeating during the evening, I’m married , sorry I’m married…and so on, I’m telling everyone that aren’t yet, get over here, you would stumble over NICE Australian men, who LOVE to take you out,

The meter is on $100 (how it could be this high is totally unlikely, and we’re probably been ripped off)

Steve to the rescue!!! I have had a lot of problems/questions about my numbers lately, so I had Steve come down from Melbourne during Friday. He is GREAT, a lot got sorted out.

Look at his fab bag bought in China. He was there during the last two week….such a NICE guy he bought 4, four handbags so his girlfriend, Steve really understands what women likes, and alway with a smile on his face! I really like Steve! Tino, read this :-)

This fascinates me; most people know that there is a time difference between Australia and Europe, however surprisingly often people call me in the middle of the night or very early in the morning.

Caller: Oh hi it’s xxx,
LS: Hi
Caller: what’s the time over there am I calling in the middle of night? Or is it morning?
LS: It’s kind of late/early
Caller: Oh, OK..eha, well anyway I just wanted to… jada, jada, jada…

Caller: Sorry for calling late/early
LS: OK, bye

I guess it all depends on how early your think morning starts (5, 6, 7??), mine apparently started 5.00am this morning, when I received a very interesting call from Holland,

Today is Sweden day. This day Gustav Vasa where pronounced King of Sweden in 1523. We calebrated with fantastic dinner at the Japanease place, I actually got some congratulations at work

I talked to NYC friends Dan-Alp and Caroline today, Caroline was tipsy on the roof terrace at work with her 3rd drink coming up, and Danne was home; what was cool was that we all used skype into a phone conference, with one local number tied to Caroline’s mobile phone, FUN stuff, very noisy but cool and FREE

Linda's 10 year Anniversary living in OZ Party

Linda, Rachel and Oscar invited to a BIG party to celebrate Linda's 10 years of living in Australia, (and her 35th birthday). They had loads of finger food, vine, liquor etc.

They have a big backyard, not like ours in London (for you who have seen it) empty, dirty and a bit noisy, no this one is tidy and exotic, with palm trees, parrot flowers, fireplace etc.

Anna brought her new ozzy boyfriend Paul, who she has met every day this week, they are so cute and so much in love!

It was a late and GREAT night!
