This fascinates me; most people know that there is a time difference between Australia and Europe, however surprisingly often people call me in the middle of the night or very early in the morning.
Caller: Oh hi it’s xxx,
LS: Hi
Caller: what’s the time over there am I calling in the middle of night? Or is it morning?
LS: It’s kind of late/early
Caller: Oh, OK..eha, well anyway I just wanted to… jada, jada, jada…
15min later
Caller: Sorry for calling late/early
LS: OK, bye
I guess it all depends on how early your think morning starts (5, 6, 7??), mine apparently started 5.00am this morning, when I received a very interesting call from Holland,
I understand that this is tricky for most people, but the good news is that it’s really easy to find out the timezones on this web site: The World Clock http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/custom.html?sort=1&low=c
I recommend it! It's fab when trying to coordinate a phonemeeting over time zones
Put it as bookmark in your mobile phone and you are def. covered where ever you are,
Happy enlightenment of the time zones :-)
